Knowing Hidden Metal

You can sense whether metal is present and determine its
direction and amount. This can locate hidden treasure, native
metal underground, concealed weapons, and so on. You
can also analyze its composition and shape. Detection requires
a Per roll subject to range penalties from the Size and
Speed/Range Table (p. B550); analysis calls for an IQ roll. Talent
adds to both rolls.
