No-Landing Extraction

Prerequisite: Piloting; cannot exceed prerequisite skill.
This technique lets you pick up
cargo from the ground without land-
ing. You can only fetch cargos outfit-
ted with special no-landing extraction
apparatus. Someone on the ground
must make a successful Freight
Handling roll to prepare the cargo
(takes hours). A failed Freight
Handling or No-Landing Extraction
roll means a missed pick-up or dam-
aged cargo. Critical failure indicates
the cargo is lost (critically injured, if a
living passenger).
