By the end of Wake of the Oldways, the Heroes have grown, changed, and experienced hazards and wonders few Dalesfolk ever have. Their actions will echo through the Dales for years to come, in ways large and small. Personal Journeys After completing all of the adventures in Wake of the Oldways, take some time to reflect on all that has happened. • Where did each Hero's journey begin? Where did it end? How have they grown and changed? • Who and what did the Heroes save? Who or what was lost along the way? • What friends have the Heroes made? Will they stand with the Heroes against greater threats? • What enemies have the Heroes made? Will they take advantage of the strife that is to come? • How do the Heroes feel about the Dales? About the outside world? About the future? • Can the Heroes ever go home again? Can they ever settle back into the slow, pastoral life of the Dales? Do they want to? Epic Tales Wake of the Oldways concludes with the rediscovery of the Lost Hermitage and with Stormhelm invading the northern Dales to secure more soldiers for their war against the Winter King. The next chapter of the Hearts of Ravensdale epic campaign will pick up here, sending your Heroes on an campaign to save the Dales.
