The walls are covered in drawings of vaguely defined animals, each a variation of the last. The clerk within will enthuse about DOGS! and HOUNDS!—but seems vague on the details. Enough questions will reveal that they have, in fact, never seen a dog. They would never admit this, andrefuse any offers to be shown one.
