8. Spiraling Tube

This hallway contains a greasy, spinning TUBE that leads to a door to the east. There's a lingering smell of rotten eggs.

• ◆ TUBE: Covered in oil, painted black and white stripes. It spins fast enough to knock anyone walking through it off their feet. Every 10', pass a [Reflex] Save with a -4 penalty or fall Prone.

• ◆ LOOKOUT: A lookout in Area 9 (Macelle) shoots a flaming arrow through a slit in the east wall when intruders are halfway through, igniting the oil. All Beings in the Tube are Burning (Cd6). The hole is then shut and Macelle alerts Frotha.

• ?INSPECTING: The oil is flammable.
