BEECH TREE SHRINE

An old temple of sorts built in a beech forest. Trees function as pillars, holding up a roof canopy with a beech tree growing in the temple’s center with an iridescent dagger stabbed roughly 20’ up its center. Shimmering leaves fall from the ceiling, chiming in the air as they float to the ground. The thickest beech tree grows up through a hole in the ceiling, ascending to darkness above. A glowing door can be seen behind two statues of lovers about to embrace. There are stairs leading both up and down.

• Lovers: Those who give a sign of affection to a statue are given a blessing, which can be used within the next day to choose the result of one of their d20 rolls or to instantly resurrect them when they die at full HP if their body is intact. The statues can’t bless a character more than once per day.
