Plucky, hill-dwelling folk of the shire. Halflings are known to live life to the fullest, rise to any challenge, and bask even in their failures. They are fearless, quick to respond, and always capable of turning things in their favor. Halflings settle on rolling hills, with food at the highest elevation, then homes, markets, and finally waste management at the lowest. It helps reduce the damage of floods, and keeps temperatures comfortable all year.
