village
This old farming community
was destroyed twenty years ago
by an earthquake that left only
ruins, now covered in ivy and
weeds. The cellars of the houses
are inhabited by a band of
twenty mutant refugees, adults
(13, LVL3) and children (7,
LVL1). They want nothing more
than to live in peace, and are
defending their new territory
at all costs. Two of Chübolb's
brutes are impaled at the en-
trance to the village.
Moving from one hex to another takes about 4 hours.
Each time the party enters a hex, roll on the encounter table.

From now, each time the party enters a hexagon, there's a
one-in-two chance a new giant spider joins.
They attack in hex #11 or as soon as there are four of them.
Zaratazarat's spiders
The Wicked Mage sent his minions to ensure the messenger
is dead: a group of giant spiders he incubated in the vats of
his secret laboratory. They are cold, silent killers, methodical,
cautious, and ruthless. A tuft or red fur on their abdomen forms
a very visible Z. Stats: BSH p. 53
