A narrow five-foot-wide walkway edges around a deep pit filled with bones and detritus forty feet below. Across the pit, the path leads to an archway with a spiral staircase ascending upward. From the shadows below, a ghastly figure moves into view: a woman with bone-white hair and eyes that glow red with undying fury.
The walls of the pit are composed of smooth stone requiring
incredible strength to climb without magic or climbing gear. A character succeeding a DC 23 climb sheer surfaces check could achieve such a feat.
The creature is Dara, who ousted Lyria as leader of the Gravelight Sorority thieves guild. After sending many agents to retrieve the Reliquary of Silent Sisters, Dara took it upon herself to try and reclaim their treasure. She failed and perished during a confrontation with the trap golem in
