Little Birds’ District

The City doesn’t have a formal postal service, but it does have the Little Birds. This mercantile company delivers messages within the City and to almost anywhere in the Wide World. The hilly neighborhood around their headquarters is named (aptly enough) the Little Birds’ District. Little Birds are marked by their silver bird brooches, slide whistles, and the feathers in their phrygian caps. Their reputation for discretion and success cannot be rivaled.

Sensations:

The bustling of messengers moving up and down the high hill. Savory smells from the street carts selling a variety of spicy food. The music of street performers and buskers. You hear a play being performed. The pear trees lining the street are in bloom; they do not smell particularly good.
