Master Hugo Underhill’s Menagerie

Hugo Underhill is a corpulent glutton that sponsors a large circus and menagerie. His main attractions are monsters and fantastic beasts captured and brought up from the Underworld. These attractions are hosted on his private estate, a large natural preserve and greenspace in the utterly urbanized center of the Wide World.

Is it incredibly irresponsible to jam some of the deadliest and most magical creatures into cages and let the public come view them for a few gold? Absolutely. Still, here we are.

Sensations:

You hear: See Master Underhill’s Marvelous Menagerie! Be educated by his diverse fables. Be delighted by his animal players. Do not be frightened, ladies.

You see: Behind a (very low, rickety) fence, there is a hydra. There is a heavy chain around the main trunk of its snake-like body. It looks starved. It sits in its own shit. Down the path, a sorcerer has cast a spell to make it seem like the mantyger is friends with the lion; both are shaking and obviously terrified.
