The Castle of Crossed Destinies
Dungeon SeedHis Majesty the Worm Β· p.346
Open source p.346The Castle of Crossed Destinies was the seat of power for the Triarchy. The decadence that this castle once knew has faded and grown tarnished as it has fallen to the influences of the Underworld. Incredible works of art and unknowable traps sit side by side in these ancient halls.
The castle is tended by a caste of degenerate servants called the Lavritic who are descended from the original inhabitants. They trim the wicks of candles, throw dead bodies out of windows, and reset the traps. They are bound by powerful geas to never interfere, harm, or help outsiders. At best, they prostrate themselves and tremble.
