The Drowned Wedding

Everybody agrees that the wood elf princess Titikamook and the Finfolk King were lovers. Opinions differ as to whether the love was true or coerced. Everybody also agrees that Titikamook was to be married to her betrothed, the wood elf Kilium. What exactly happened at the wedding of these two elves is a matter of legend. It is said that the Finfolk King objected to the union, sunk the island, and turned the wedding guests into sea mammal monsters. The sunken island is preserved in a gigantic hollow pearl at the bottom of a subterranean lake. Getting there is nearly impossible without the aid of magic. Inside, although some sections are partially flooded, the air is breathable.

Sights

An elven gala fallen into impossible age. Rotting food on the table. Half-drunk putrid glasses of wine. Decorations threading themselves into cobwebs.

Sounds

Moaning of ghosts. Distantly, the sound of music? The sound of water rushing in and out of cracks in the wall.

Smell and taste

A lingering smell of incense and rotting flowers. The ocean tang of the salty sea.

None.

Structures

The surrounding pearl is diamond-hard and milky white. Structures on the island are made of wood, magically warped into shape.
