The Inverted Castle
Dungeon SeedHis Majesty the Worm · p.347
Open source p.347Dripping down like a stalactite, the Inverted Castle hangs in the midst of a great cavern. The draconic children of His Majesty the Worm are entombed here, and their reality-warping influence seeps out of their prison-tombs. Each room of the Inverted Castle seems to be decorated by someone who has only heard about humans through unreliable ancient historians and seen pictures of their lives through crude art. The rooms appear to be set to some purpose, but there’s little logic to the layout, decoration, or inventory. Disparate concepts are juxtaposed. Certain rooms are laid out nonsensically, e.g., an entire wing is entirely upside down.
