The Nackadonkee River

The widest river in River Country, the Nackadonkee runs from the eastern mountains, all the way to the riverside city of Bogtown, and into the swampy Quagmash. The Nackadonkee river is home to many woodland and riverfolk that live off the land, as they did in the old days.

• Peasants hunt, fish, and gather resources to support their families. Often they do it under cover of darkness so as to not be caught by the River Watch, who begrudgingly enforce laws that tax hunting and fishing.
• Folks here live in quaint riverside communities, avoiding city folk and living simple lives. Most are friendly, but some are wary of strangers, worried that big corporations will move in and disrupt the quiet.
• River Baron pleasure cruises often spend weeks on the Nackadonkee, enjoying the quiet serene nature of the area.
• Home of the Nackadonkee Tubesteak, a favorite food in all of the Mucklands. Lately, however, local tubesteak cooks have had their kitchens sabotaged; some think it's Nork's Noodle Gang from Fleabag County.
