- Ally: Perhaps a petty thief, a secretive spy, or a town beggar.
- Rival: Perhaps a gang leader, an assassin, or a crooked cop. ALLIES AND RIVALS Strive to create NPC Allies and Rivals that not only deepen your PC's Backstory, but provide ongoing complications and conflict for the GM to throw at the party in future sessions. Maybe an Ally is caught up into some trouble back home, or a Rival is trying to thwart the PC from completing their Personal Quest.
