Old, robed, wizard of a man. Runs
the church (mass on Sunday). No
one attends; the church is broke.
He secretly lives in a tent in Shanty
Town as he is too proud to ask for
help. He does not trust “the heathen
witch in the swamp." He spends
what money he has on rum and
supplies from Davies and his men,
turning a blind eye to their origin.

▶ For Rupert, his altar boy, to take
over the church someday.
