Two-handed melee weapon: advantage to damage. The weapons marked dX/dX (Awl pike /, Chaos warrior flail /, Paladin's sword /) can be used one- or two-handed.
(Specialized medieval polearm, like a halberd with a different blade: Partisan, Gisarme, Bardiche.)
Black powder weapons (Dueling pistol, Culverin, Blunderbuss, Arquebus, Musket, Gnomish grenades) are:
- Dangerous: their damage is doubled.
- Unreliable: a roll of 1–3 on a weapon at Δ4 means the weapon explodes, causing damage to the one who pulled the trigger. Before that, only an expert can restore a weapon to its original damage Δ.
- Loud: when shot, creatures in the surrounding rooms and hallways are alerted to its presence.
- Above all, optional! If your group doesn't want guns mixed into your fantasy, replace them with the weapons just below.
These black powder weapons can damage grouped targets at the DM's discretion.
