Characters have a living standard risk die whose size depends on their seniority rank. To pay for a luxury within their purchasing power, a host must roll their living standard Δ.
\* Characters can acquire anything listed on the line corresponding to their rank and the lines above it – see p. 92 for the shops available in the Dungeon. The Cost to Increase column is the sum spent on key colleagues to temporarily upgrade the living standard Δ to that level for the next weeks.
