The DM uses this table to determine the enemy's next action when a Morale risk die is rolled. If the die fizzles from a Δ4 to nothing, the adversary attempts to run away by any means available or falls to its knees to plead for its life. Creatures without a morale die always fight to the death.

1Desperate: enemy and hosts do double damage
2Flee: leaving stuff behind, doors open, etc.
3Surrender: if not accepted, step up morale Δ
4Retreat: orderly fall back, regroup
5Panic: behave against their interest
6Fight defensively: look for cover, etc.
7Best defense: take risks to win quickly
8Frenzy: enemy does double damage, can't tell apart hosts and allies
9Feint: retreat to set a trap or ambush
10Exploit: find weakness in hosts' strategy
11Second wind: reroll enemy's hit points
12Blood thirst: hosts get disadvantage in melee
