Concentration

Some spells take immediate effect and are finished. Some spells continue their effects as long as the sorcerer concentrates on them, muttering continuing incantations and focusing their will. You may only concentrate on one spell at a time.

If you’re hurt while concentrating on a spell, you lose the spell and suffer maleficence unless you succeed in a test of Wands. During Challenges, this requires that you use the Test Fate action.

• If you succeed, you maintain the spell.

• If you fail, you lose the spell and maleficence occurs.
