Rooms (34)

F1401 Wild Whirlpool · hag p.26 ↗

F1401. WILD WHIRLPOOL
Whirlpool guarded by a cranky sea hag named Moira. She explains that the whirlpool is a portal to the material plane, but like most things in the Fey
Realms, it is unpredictable.

F1407 Hillagh · giant,hill giant p.26 ↗

F1407. HILLAGH
Small (but large-scale) village of
35 hill giants. Unlike their
Material Plane cousins, these giants are friendly, lawful, and intelligent (INT ). Centuries ago, some calamity deactivated the portal between Hillagh and
Finn’s Causeway (Area M007), causing the hill giants of the Fey
Realms and the Material Plane to drift apart in culture and personality. Hill giant wizard
Arbol can teach a 2nd-tier wizard spell that reactivates closed fey portals, but it has to be performed on the closed portal’s side (in this case, Area
M007 on the Material Plane).

F1604. SALTSPRAY
Seaside village of 80 elves and merfolk, mostly fishers and boat-builders (peasants). They allow anyone to use the portal here to access the ocean on the
Material Plane. An elf sailor named Tibalt offers a guided boat tour of the Wild Whirlpool
(Area F1401) for 5 gp per passenger, but he makes no guarantees of a safe return. A forest gnome named Chessie
Bayleaf has traveled here from
Squirrelhollow (Area F2201) in search of her brother Gnilf, who she says went missing one month ago (Gnilf is imprisoned in Castle Colleen, Area F17).
Portal. In the center of town.
Leads to the Seaward Arch
(Area M204).

Workshop of forest gnome toymaker Pin Roundel. Roundel surrounds himself with toys which he has brought to life with fey magic. He once sold dolls to visitors, but only with the condition that the dolls never leave the Fey Realms, as that would cause them to lose their magic. A year ago, he heard that an elf child had brought a living puppet named
Knothead with her to Ballyhob
Glen. Roundel and his toy family desperately want Knothead returned to the Fey Realms so he can come back to life.
Knothead ended up for sale at a shop in Smeath (Area M1003), but Roundel doesn’t know that.

F2102. PETAL’S PALACE
Extravagant, solid-gold mansion owned by deep gnome Petal
Ingyjean. Five guards patrol the grounds. A month ago, a fairy named Ulda offered Petal a wish from her Wand of Wish after he saved her from Morgana’s redcap soldiers. He wished to make Ulda his slave. Ulda now sits by Petal’s side, forced to grant all his wishes, which is how he ended up with such wealth. Inside the mansion’s vault is 300 gp and an item from the Treasure 4-6 table, 90-100 range (SD 273). Sorcha put a sleeping curse on
Titania’s beloved dragon Fig
