Standard notation (NdX±M), advantage/disadvantage, and a shared roll log. Rolling on a table or in the character builder / GM screen also records here. With 3D dice on (toggle above), every roll tumbles across the screen.

Roll20 chat bridge

Roll20 has no inbound API, so this works like Beyond20: a small userscript runs on your Roll20 tab and posts each roll into chat.

  1. Install the userscript in Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey — one install covers every game system.
  2. Open your Roll20 game (the in-game editor page) — a status chip appears bottom-center.
  3. Enable the toggle above; rolls you make here appear in Roll20 chat, themed to this system.
  4. Optional — enhanced parchment cards (Roll20 Pro): open your game → Settings ▸ API Scripts ▸ New Script, paste in the mod script, save, then check Enhanced cards above. Every player then sees a themed card (in this system's colour) instead of a plain text line.
  5. Import characters (Roll20 Pro): add the Shadowdark Import script as a second API script (Settings ▸ API Scripts ▸ New Script, paste, save). Then on any saved character, click ➜ Roll20 — it creates (or refreshes) that PC as a Roll20 Character with its sheet attributes, attacks/talents/spells/gear, and token art. Re-send to update. The token avatar only loads if this app is reachable from Roll20 (e.g. your funnel); otherwise set art manually.

Local single-user relay through /api/roll20 on this app — nothing leaves your machine.
