Character sheet (verbatim from source)
Batul Stormbringer was a leading
figure among the Seven Tribes. Born
to a human female slave of a Kainite
war chief, her mother struggled with
the labor of birth for 3 days before
Batul was finally cut from her belly by
the midwife, killing the mother. It is
said that when Batul took her first
breath and cried, thunder and
lightning came from the sky. Thus, her
father named her “Stormbringer.”

Batul’s upbringing was severely brutal.
Subjected to abuse by everyone
around her. At the age of seven years,
she was given to the care of an old
orcish witch doctor. She was to be
trained in the arts of witchcraft, but
after only two years there, she
murdered the old witch doctor. This
act “blooded” her, and she was made
the new witch doctor of her tribe. At
some point, she found the shard of
Tordenvaer. She affixed this to a staff,
and it allowed her to call in
thunderstorms. This ability added
further to her reputation.

In around 304 AK, she was tasked by
Mogdahl’s Kainite Warlock Lograh
with finding the Book of Baahl. Batul

began hunting all throughout the
Dalelands for the book. This, in fact,
turned out to be the primary impetus
for the Orcish invasion and occupation
of the Dalelands - a three-year reign of
terror that decimated the region.

Batul’s purpose was discovered by
Tyrius de Ardaran and his party, on
the assignment of the Council of
Korin, led by the great Wizard,
Mythra. It was a race against time to
find the book. Eventually, it was
discovered that the Dragon, Quomrim,
was in possession of it. However, the
book was never found after the Battle
of the Hilltop in 307 AK, and Batul
Stormbringer disappeared. It is
thought by many that she may have
absconded with the book during the
chaos of the battle.
