Saurin Dargenus

Saurin Dargenus was an Androan 
Scout in the service of the Korvallan 
Empire in around 1 BK. He was a 
firsthand witness to the destruction of 
the Korvallan fleet at the Straits of 
Kabulia, and was one of only a few 
survivors who had fought the Kainites 
personally by that time. His 
encounters and experiences with this 
new breed of orc helped to prepare 
the people of Asterra for the war to 
come. After the Empire fell, Dargenus 
returned to his homeland and led his 
people in preparations to face the 
Kainites.  
His ability to form alliances and his 
successful campaigns defending 
against the Kainites eventually made 
Andros the successor to Korvalla as 
the imperial power in Asterra for half 
a century from about 2AK to 70AK. 
However, it was not to last long. After 
the Death of Dargenus, plague swept 
across the empire, and population 
decline made the nascent Androan 
Empire impossible to maintain.
