Character sheet (verbatim from source)
The Eye of Kain has been kept by the
Elves of the Valley of the Myst for over
ten millennia. It is an artifact of great
evil and immense power. The Kainite
Orcs will stop at nothing to retrieve
the Eye and have kept the Valley
under constant attack.
The Eye is about the size of a man’s
head, round and covered with thick,
black, scaly leather. Like a closed
eyelid, there is a slit in the leather, and
it may be pried open (see below).
To look upon the Eye is to be tempted
by corruption. The Eye can show all
things and bestow near omnipresence
upon the one who wields it. However,
using the Eye is fraught with terrible
cost. Every use of the Eye forces a CHA
18 check. Failure moves one’s
alignment closer to Shadow. Once
consumed by Shadow, the wielder of
the Eye will become its servant and

Legendary Items
will try to reunite the Eye with its
master, Kain.
Greater Scrying. While in possession
of the Eye, the wielder may choose to
concentrate on any creature, place,
location, or even time, whether
familiar or unfamiliar. The holder of
the eye will see and hear, as if
present. Every round, a WIS 12 check
must be made, or the connection is
lost, the power of the Eye being too
much to bear. After a failed check,
the user must wait a day before
Scrying with the Eye again.
Firey Gaze. Using an action to pry
open the lids of the Eye and revealing
the fiery, terrible orb inside causes
two effects. First, all within a Far sized
cube in front of the wielder take 8d10
damage (15 DEX for half damage)
from the intense heat and flame
caused by the Eye’s gaze. Second, Kain
will immediately know the precise
location of the Eye and will come to
retrieve it!
