Events targeting an adventurer

Sometimes, a Meatgrinder event targets one particular adventurer. This should make sense in context: the first person in the marching order might blunder into the trap, whereas the last one in marching order doesn’t notice that their potion bottle is broken and leaking.

Sometimes, Meatgrinder events or an enemy’s attack targets a random adventurer. In this event, consult the top card of the minor arcana discard pile. The random effect will target the player whose path matches that suit. If you have multiple people with that path at the table, use the card’s value to choose between them in a quick way (e.g., odd is the first player to your left, even is the first player to your right).
