Trial by Combat

Trial by combat is like trial by
ordeal, in that Fate is supposed to
judge guilt or innocence. As a rule,
though, trial by combat provides the
punishment as well: the guilty party
dies. A trial by combat might be fair
(evenly matched champions), loaded
(uneven champions), or totally unfair
(throw the prisoner into a pit with a
monster).
