Types of Realities

Many different types of game
worlds can exist in a cross-world cam-
paign. These are often called “planes
of existence” (or “planes”), “dimen-
sions,” “realities,” “realms,” or “uni-
verses” to distinguish them from dis-
tant lands or planets in the same phys-
ical universe, which are sometimes
called “game worlds” as well.
